This week we are working on the letters C & K.
We are also starting to introduce sight words to the children. Sight words typically refer to a set of about 100 words that appear frequently in text. As well as being
frequent, many of these words cannot be sounded out, so they must be learned by sight. Recognizing sight words is a big step towards reading.
Our sight words this week are:
Go / See / Can / My / Me
You can help at home by pointing out these words in the books you read and using them frequently in your sentences.
