Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that
coordinates the packaging and distribution of food to people in need. Founded in 1998, Rise
Against Hunger mobilizes more than 350,000 volunteers each year to
package meals for people in need around the globe. This year our Sunway International School volunteers packed 80,000 lunches!
Kindergarten didn't get to volunteer but we did take a walk through the Multi-purpose hall with our Reading Buddies to see all the food being packed. The kids were amazed to see so much food and so many people working hard to help others.
