All this month we have been learning about our teeth and bodies through our play centres. The doctor dramatic play center is one of our favourites!
Our water table has been turned into a blood bank, where we have to use
our fine motor skills to sort the red blood cells (water babies) from
the white blood cells (ping pong balls) and the platelets (marbles).
Our sand table is where we pretend we are archaeologist digging for bones! Once we find all the pieces, we must put the puzzle together.
We've been learning about our major organs, as well as labeling all our body parts.
We've also been exploring animal X-Rays on our light table and matching them up with their photos.
