Plant Life Cycle

In science we have been talking about how seeds grow and change into adult plants. We planted our giant beanstalks and are watching to see who's can reach the clouds first! We are drawing and recording each step and predicting what will happen next.

You can do more at home by watching the movie on BrainPop Jr. and testing your knowledge by taking the quiz. You can even do your own celery experiment to see what the roots of a plant can do or find instructions to make your own terrarium.

Little rabbits have big ears

In Mandarin we are learning how to say our facial features. Today we learned how to say ears!

Ask your little rabbit if they remember these words: Ěr duo (ears); bízi (nose); tóu (head); yǎn jīng (eyes); zuǐ bā (mouth)

Seeds

Looks like our seeds have finally started to grow! Max has added just the right amount of water and his is one of the first to sprout.
