Positive Notes Home
We are looking forward to sending positive notes home to those that earn them. Students can acquire them by listening to their teachers, being a kind friend by sharing and taking turns and by trying their best!
Look for them in your child's school bag!

Balancing Robots
This week in science we challenged students to find the
center of gravity and balance a robot. They were given a robot to
decorate, along with sticky tack and 2 coins. Then they had to figure
out where to place their coins in order to make their robot balance!

How high can you go?
A tower is a tall structure, taller than it is wide, often by a significant margin. Today we tried making our own towers out of 3 different kinds of blocks. We learned that the more support we had on the sides, the taller we could make them without them falling over.

Learning to recognize letters is integral to early literacy. The ABC Match game offers students the chance to match
initial letters with pictures while also using their memory skills to
remember which cards are where.

Should I Share My Ice Cream?
We made our first class book this week based on Mo Willems Should I Share my Ice Cream? This simple story allowed us to discuss sharing, friendship and generosity.
Take your little one out for ice cream this weekend and ask them to share it with you!
